The Youth Job-Entrepreneurial Readiness Training Program is a job preparedness and independent living skills development program managed by PACCO. It is focused on preparing the youth aged 16-21 belonging to low and extremely low-income households.
We believe that in order to build generational wealth, we need to start growing people at an early adult stage. The intent is to get our youth ready to take on newly created jobs within the next few years. This would result to stabilized communities via microenterprise assistance and wrap-around workforce training for either employment or business ownership.
The hybrid program provides for online and in-person classes-workshops. We start with addressing the youth mindset & life compass: Drafting a vision board, personal mission statement. We focus on Energy Leadership- How our Thoughts, Emotions, Actions carve our destiny. Personality Development, consumer survival skills and community engagement will be main modules preparing for advanced skills trainings : Customer Service, Building a professional social media profile, resume-writing.
