Position Overview:
We are growing our team and looking for a creative Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team and help us support our Technical Assistance programs, assist our customers with creating websites, and help with maintaining PACCO’s online presence. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be a dynamic and resourceful professional who understands the digital world and can provide technical assistance to customers seeking to develop new websites. You will play a crucial role in engaging our community by building and teaching how to maintain small
business websites. The role will also assist with expanding our online reach and supporting our mission through effective digital strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with business owners to provide technical support and guidance in assessing, modifying, or creating new websites, ensuring a smooth and user-friendly experience.
- Provide training and support to customers on digital tools and best practices.
- Support and implement digital marketing strategies to reach small businesses and enhance the organization's online presence.
- Assist with managing and updating website content, ensuring it is current, engaging, and aligned with our mission and SEO strategies.
- Collaborate with team members to create compelling content for social media platforms, email campaigns, and other online channels.
- Monitor digital trends and analytics, using insights to improve strategies and report on the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Assist in the development of online fundraising initiatives and promotional events.
- Assist with training and support for PACCO staff on digital tools and best practices.
- Provide digital marketing support as directed for special projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience in digital marketing, website management, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of website development processes and platforms.
- Proficiency in SEO, content management systems, and analytics tools.
- Proficiency with various digital marketing tools such as Canva, Weebly, Wix, or similar applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear technical guidance.
- Creative thinker with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for nonprofit work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
